A visit to the Hall of Records is also a must, to see the deed for Delaware given to William Penn by James, Duke of York (later James II of England) in 1682.

Legislative Hall is open for tours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. throughout the year except for some holidays. Tours are free. Reservations are preferred, self guided walk-ins are always welcome. Weekend tours are available on the first Saturday of each month. To schedule a tour call: (302) 739-9194.
