“The handsomest building I ever saw,” said President Theodore Roosevelt at the dedication of the capitol in 1906. A smaller replica of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Pennsylvania’s state house is nothing short of breathtaking.

Took in Harrisburg, PA in early June 2011. What a fantastic building! The capitol tour was with 35 fourth grade students and man, they were fantastic as well. This was visit #16!
